Rushmee Ghoorah graduated from Inchbald School of Design London as an Interior Designer in 1991. Possessing a natural creative ability and talent, Rushmee also attended Heatherly School of Fine Art where she explored life drawing and sculpturing. She then went on to learn Haute Couture Curtain Making from Lady Caroline Wrey and paint finishes at KLC and Parsons School. of Design.
She trained with International Architect Alain Bouvier in London. following graduation from Inchbald School of Design, which then led her to set up her own Interior Design business in Mauritius - Decorum Interiors.
The company started as a Interiors Consultancty firm with soft furnishings and finishes. Over the years Rushmee's work spanned from designing and supplying various private residential properties to commercial units and hotels
As the company grew, Rushmee expanded into Retail where she launched a Lifestyle Boutique that encompasses mid range to high end home accent pieces.
Decorum Studio is where Rushmee focuses solely on Interior Design and projects.
